Why Natural Antioxidants Work So Well Against Cancer

Technological advances in the various food preparation and manufacturing industries have resulted in the discovery of many natural antioxidants, many of which are used to improve overall health. Many of these antioxidants are known as food additives, and they are also known by different names such as vitamins, flavonoids, carotenoids and other compounds.

An antioxidant is any substance that can help to protect the body against the harmful effects of free radicals (harmful substances that are formed by the oxidation of cells). Free radicals are a result of environmental and metabolic causes. They are believed to be responsible for diseases such as atherosclerosis, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and infectious diseases.

Antioxidants are derived from nature by means of plant sources. Plant-based foods such as citrus fruits, berries, and certain vegetables and legumes are rich in antioxidants. Other foods that contain antioxidants include many types of meats, nuts and seeds, dairy products, and wine and spirits.

The term "natural" refers to all substances that occur naturally and are produced by living organisms without the aid of man-made chemicals. This is the most basic definition, but it has been refined to include food additives that can be derived from other sources, but are not actually naturally occurring.

Some of the various antioxidants include vitamins A, C and E, as well as beta-carotene, lutein, selenium, lycopene, and several phytonutrients. These compounds help to reduce the occurrence of free radical molecules in the body, thereby protecting them from damaging cellular DNA.

Antioxidants are used in conjunction with other nutrients to promote good health. Some foods that are high in antioxidants are dark leafy green vegetables, green tea, fruits and vegetables, nuts, and whole grains.

Antioxidants are found naturally in red wine, berries, citrus fruits, and other citrus fruits. The best sources of antioxidants are fruits and vegetables. Antioxidants also are found in some fish and nuts. They can be found in meats, dairy products and fish.

Natural antioxidants have been used for centuries in China and India to treat diseases. Since these ancient times, they have been used to improve the general health of the population.

In the Western world, one of the most common forms of natural antioxidant is vitamin E, which has been shown to be effective against a number of health problems. Vitamin E is found in various foods, including wheat germ, egg yolk, corn, and soybeans.

A number of studies have shown that the use of vitamin E to protect against cancer can be very effective. A study in Japan found that it could inhibit the formation of carcinomas in mice that had been exposed to the herbicide, benzopyrene, as well as reducing the size of tumors that had already developed.

In the United States, another form of vitamin E, called tocopherol, is now being sold in drug stores. As a supplement, this ingredient works to protect cells from oxidative damage. It also helps to improve the immune function.

In Japan, the use of vitamin E has also been shown to help to prevent the development of prostate cancer. Ascorbic acid, or vitamin C, is another antioxidant that has been shown to protect against cancer.

Studies have shown that vitamin E can prevent certain cancers such as lung, breast, colorectal, and bladder cancer and has been shown to reduce the occurrence of certain types of breast cancer. Red clover, which is found in India and other countries, is a form of natural antioxidant.

A study by the University of Chicago found that red clover can increase the body's ability to fight cancer. The antioxidants that were present in the plant were able to boost the immune system, which can reduce the risk of getting certain cancers.

These studies show that natural antioxidants work synergistically to improve the body's ability to fight disease and improve health. The body's natural defenses are strengthened, which can help fight off the many types of diseases and help to keep people healthy.

One of the key reasons for the antioxidant's effectiveness in this regard is that the body has the ability to produce them. as we age, which means that it's easier to replenish the levels of antioxidants that we've lost as we get older.
